On MySpace you read that they'r a progressive rock group, but I actually find'm quite metal, which is good too  :)

Before I get slaughtered, let me just say that my girl put it on, and I have no choice but to listen to it because the computer is in the same room and I need to use the computer... :o

I think I have to listen to some Opeth after this, just to teach her a lesson. *horns* ;D

Before I get slaughtered ....

I just took my nice big shiny Freddy knife out in the kitchen and now I'm on my way. If Bluey can find ya, Tom, then I can too ....  >:(

You should have stuck to Bluey; she had good music taste  :P

A term has arisen around Lady Gaga's music: contentlessness. The lyrics are devoid of any content, the music is devoid of musical passion, just a rhythm box and electronics churning out pretty much the same monotonous loops  :'(

Strange, and disturbing, that she is currently the biggest name in music  :(

Hey, good stuff  8)

Sorta over in the PT department. Particularly the drummer reminds me of Gavin - subtle catchy beats (Cap  ;) )

The guitar is over in the DG department - which doesnt bother me at all - and even some DG-ish sax  :)

Guess I better get TGD on my SL too .....

Ten: You're right. Sorry. Again.

Yeah, particularly Ten.

Here's another chance:

www.tenofthebest.com

Go down to "Tracklisting" next to the cover of The Twilight Chronicles. Some of the songs are highlighted in blue. If you click them, you can hear samples.

There's also

www.myspace.com/tentheband

It also has samples from Twilight.

I tried to find some full songs from Twilight on YouTube and other places, but without success.

I think that Cap, Iggy, and I are the only Roomies who have realised how great Ten are.

I guess they'r real growers. On first listen they don't sound of much, but with several listens the music starts taking off  *horns*

And Mad, you still have Nostradamus waitin eagerly for ya. When I say that it's my overall fave album (by any band), that should mean somethin to ya. After all, we do share a lotta music, don't we ? ;)

And don't give me the "I'v been there" bullshit again, or I'l pass by you after I'v fixed Tom - just a little march thru the marsh  ;D

But I have bought Nostradamus, though. I promise to give my two ten cents worth opinion soon.

I don't know where Ten fits in here. The link was to the Priest song Locked In, a good song with a fun video. See it, and you'l see what I mean  ;)

Actually the songs that I'v provided links for, and the order of'm, gives a good introduction to this great, but probably also initially bewildering album. So I recommend my links to you too, Bups  ;)

I'v never understood why it's so difficult to play the links posted by Roomies. There has never been an overwhelming amount of'm, not like on the Priest or Nevermore board. I get around to playing all the links in the Room, and I usually repeat'm, cuz true prog requires several runs. Isnt that part of the idea of "sharing," guys?  :)
