I really like it. Seems they have managed to record their most symphonic and poppy record at the same time. Healthy dose of Queen influences too.
Indeed, I find it their best album to date  *horns* 8).

Me too. I really like it! *horns*  I hear Guiding Light receives a lot of criticism though, but the guitarsolo on that track is so amazing! :o

I love the loud guitar parts.  I think the quiet parts in between make them seem even louder.  I want to see these guys live.   *horns*

It's a good album.
Though i have some serious problems with disc two.  :-\

Outstanding.  If you could ask Steven to pop by the NY area sometime, I'd be obliged.

I don't mind disc two, but the main disc has all the best moments for sure.  Needless to say, any album that brings Deadwing to mind is a must-have.  I think it may remind me a bit more of In Absentia, but then, that one and Deadwing are very much in the same style.  I just think the lyrical content may be closer to In Absentia, but I'm nowhere close to having figured it all out, so I could be wrong!

Imo these three groups constitute the top league of what I'd call "melodic progmetal".

There are other progmetal groups that I find just as ingenious, like Nevermore and Aghora, but I'd classify them otherwise.
