Radiohead are progressive alright ...

So that settles it, donit ?  ;D

NP  PT:  Fear Of A Blank Planet and In Absentia  (on repeat)

I'm really enjoyin it  *horns*

PT are real special, very subtle. It's not like you initially get all raptured and bang on yer chair and singalong; more like it slowly creeps into you and ya realise "Hey man, this is just sublime !"

Gonna backlog PT now and simply repeat the thrillin stuff  8)

Realised to my horror that I hadnt got SW & Co. down in my fave artists lists, and I didnt have Sentimental, Trains, and Gravity Eyelids in my SO-list. Sure got that rectified fast. Please don't tell anyone, particularly not Roomies, as I'd probably be non grata for the rest of my Room Life (somewhere between First and Second Life, aint it ?)  :o

Btw, guys, did ya know that Colin Edwin plays guimbri ?

Spot on there, Nicky and Gravity Eyelids is one of my faves too.

Had never heard of a guimbri before, thanks for the info! Yo're a real WikiNicky as always ;)

Heavy duty! Not for the casual listener. I still haven't made my mind up about it and prefer the Projekcts, but I do keep coming back to it and it has a great version of Thrak.

I just saw the whole box with all the remastered albums, if this is what you're playing right now, for an astonishing €259,- euro's.  :o

I like the Beatles.

But to a certain extend.  :(

The whole box indeed comes at a hefty price and I don't think I need their whole catalogue on cd, but I have been waiting for these remasters before expanding my Beatles collection and will be getting the essential albums separately in these new versions! :P

I didn't buy the boxed set but I did by individual cd's that I didn't already own, and it was about £9 a cd. I have loved the beatles since i was a kid and since I grew up near Liverpool (a ferry ride across the Mersey away  ;D)  in the 60's I guess it is not a great surprise that I like them.

My gran lived a couple of roads away from George Harrison's house and thought he was a nice boy.  ::)

I know what you mean but I have heard some tracks tonight that I haven't heard in 40 years so I have filled in all of the gaps.

Maybe he just made a wild claim so we wouldn't think the quiet parts of Ki meant he had become sane.

JP: Jawbox - For Your Own Special Sweetheart
The Jayhawks - Hollywood Town Hall

NP: King Crimson - Discipline

I think this one is beginning to click, although I still like Red better.

JP  Enslaved:  Vertebrae and Ruun

Rather special music, takes some time to get into, but now and then they move dangerously close to my pantheon  *horns*

NP  The Arcane Order:  In The Wake Of Collisions

I more and more realise how ingenious these guys are. At my age, it takes some time to adapt to somethin that heavy  :D  but sure, this is a band to reckon with. Will take time - even in Denmark, they'r below the radar - but these guys are sooo talented that people will start discovering'm  8)

The lyrics are apocalyptic, and there's a lotta aggression in both the singin and playin, and yeah, they got some message .....
