ZZ Top - Tres Hombres.

Awesome slice of 1973 blues-rock from pre-MTVZZ Top.  Excellent recording too - sounds like there's a band set up in my room *horns*

NP Megadeth - Cryptic Writings

Yes, in the general indifference, I am still exploring the Megadeth catalog and those Writings are really exciting at first listen. Plus, I find that Megadeth's post-RIP period lyrics are way more interesting than the average metal band ones, at least when Mustaine doesn't try to talk about politics.

For instance, the lyrics of Use The Man deal (no pun intended) brilliantly with drugs use and abuse : "I've seen the man use the needle, seen the needle use the man" ...

Damian Wilson - Let's Start A Commune

I like Damian's singing a lot on the Threshold albums and Once And Future King. I'v heard that his singing is very different on his solo albums. I'd like to get one, maybe even several, of them. Any recoms ?

I'm also looking for recoms for Family albums. Any of ya guys into'm ? I remember when I was in high school, I was fortunate to experience'm twice. Chappo was a unique singer. Maybe still is ?

If you like his voice a lot, you should try out the early Landmarq albums. Very good! *horns*

'Cosmas' is my favorite Damian Wilson solo album, but you can't compare it with the Threshold stuff  ;D . Knowing you prefer heavier music, I bet you fall asleep  ;). But his voice is great, as always and the melodies are very catchy  8). You can download his albums for free (or donate) on his website: http://damianwilsonmusic.com/ to get an impression.

 ???  So shocking !

NP - Nothing, it's sleeping time ... hoping I won't make too many nightmares because of you, Mad. And beware of Vic's revenge  >:(

Manatee

NP: Gazpacho - Night followed by  Gazpacho - Tick Tock for I think the fourth time today each.

It took a couple more plays, but now I find Night amazing also.  Are any of their earlier albums worth getting?  From what I've read, it sounds like Night is generally considered much better than anything they did before it.
