As far as I remember, I once got one of their albums to review... back then their singer used to scream his lungs out - didn't like it much... have they changed since then?

A big YES is your answer, Bluey! Although I have to say I only have their latest album, 'The Great Cold Distance'. I'm in love with the singing on this album. There are only a few grunts (mixed in the far distance so you probably won't even notice them). Give them a listen at http://www.myspace.com/katatonia.

You want me to be honest?
Let me first tell you that this is TOTALLY NOT my kind of music. I knew Toto wasn't really a prog-band like the kinds that we know so well. But then again, it wasn't really what I expected... But ok.
Let's see it in its own right. The guitar solo was very nice, I must tell you that! And the guy has a nice voice too. The piano part was nice, but to be honest not to compare to anything I have in my CD collection...  :-\

I hope you don't take it the wrong way. I mean, we proggers have our sins eh? Some listen to videogame music, others can appreciate Mika, and well... yeah... others listen to Toto. ;)

Yesterday I *obtained* King Crimson's The Power To Believe, and that's so cool music... 8)
I've listened to it today and I will do so in the train later on.
