And I simply love doing those, thank you.
To me there's no point in listening to music when I cannot talk about it. It's my outlet. That's why I think a Now Playing Thread should be more than just "[bandname] - [song]". Music is emotion, an experience. It does something with you. Talk about that. Share your experiences.
It's much nicer to read too!

I also love this album. The track 'New Jerusalem' is simply amazing, what a guitar- and keyboardsolo  .

I WILL listen to it!

Today I met my schoolteacher again! He had some nice things for me this time!
1. King Crimson - Absent Lovers - Live In Montreal, 1984
2. Genesis Live DVD

- To be honest I was not very excited about King Crimson "Oh thank you mr. Bassie (that's his name, no jokes please), great, wonderful, splendid!" (OK, I didn't say "splendid"... but of course I did as if I was very happy about it). But, no... King Crimson is waaaaayy to experimental and abstract sh*t for me. Thoughts on the first track: "Ohh man... I hope the next track won't be like this one because I'll return it immediately". Second track: "Wow!" Third track: "Wow!". Fourth track: "Wow!". And that was enough to make me say that this is grrreat experimental abstract sh*t! Yup, I think I will enjoy this one very much in the future! (Isn't it great when you discover something new?)

- Genesis Live DVD... Yes (no not them)... What to say? Bad quality, eccentric performer (Peter Gabriel) and bad lighting. BUT! Brilliant quality of the players, great and very funny performance and... ahem... still bad lighting...
Haven't seen that much of it, but I think it's really cool to see (a young) Peter Gabriel. Beautiful! (This DVD. Ok, Peter Gabriel too... )

I was listening to Kino's album: Picture this morning. Brilliant. It brought a tear to my eyes. Memories of 10 December 2005 came to mind. It was great back then. And this album still is. So much good songs on one single disc. It's more like a standard than an exception in Prog World, isn't it?

And after Kino I got out of bed and had my breakfast while listening to IQ's The Seventh House. Well, what can I say? Also brilliant, what a surprise. Again no fillers.

Now listening to Dark Matter for the 5th time (or so) in its whole.
The booklet is also beautiful. Another standard in Prog World.

Rubicon...Wetton/Downes. This is a really good album with a good mixture of different styles on it. A couple of Asia type rock songs, a few ballads. Its quite different from Icon 1 imho!A bit more complex and rockier.
