Yeah I was actually pleasantly surprised by the amazing sound this bootleg (Live At Nearfest) has! It sounds better than some bands' commercially released live albums!

There is some "Rush magic". Takes some time guys, cause it's very subtle.

2112 is one of their finest moments. Also strikes my Zep vein

I really, since recently that is, like the old albums of Rush. But in my opinion it all went downhill during the late eighties.
To poppy and less proggy.

But 2112 is indeed really good. And Hemispheres, and A Farewell To Kings.

AIC were one of the greatest bands. Those guys lived and died - literally - for their music. And they were totally unglamorous - genuine musicians !

I actually like their third and last album best, yknow the three-legged doggie. I find that that's where their amazing grungy sound was most fully developed.

Oh yeah, the self-titled album. Marvelous indeed.

Tracks like Frogs, Heaven beside You and Grind are soo good.

(By now, they've started to grow too noisy for my liking. There were two noisy ones on Counterparts, and most of this album follows up in that vein. But hell... it's not bad.)

NP Steel Prophet: Dark Hallucinations

Has the first singer of Redemption, Rick Mythiasin, in the mix, and he sings real good here. I got the album cause of Rick.

Real heavy stuff. Donno yet what to make of it.

SP are quite popular in the States, but almost unknown on this side.
