I'm four hours early home from work, which is not bad at all considering the fantastic weather!!

Now listening to Discipline on Spotify. Not bad either. I've listened quite a lot to "To Shatter All Accord" when it came out. With Spotify I'm kinda forced to listen to the earlier albums too, but I just found out that that's no punishment in this case!

Pretty good stuff actually! Reminds me of Marillion a lot but with a lot of classic rock elements.

Hey, another F-Z fan. Going to see them live on Friday 13th (I'm not superstitious ), looking forward to it . Will probably buy the cd/DVD there. I've heard it several time on Spotify and it seems the best Fischer Z album after John Watts his solo career to me.

I was going to write that I remember Fischer Z from a song featuring on the Streets of Fire movie soundtrack and ask Steve for his approval on how cute Diane Lane was in that movie (how on Earth can Michael Pare walk away from her at the end of the movie !?) ... then after a check I realized that I confused Fischer Z with The Fixx, with some additional confusion coming from Fischer Z having an album called Red Skies Over Paradise when The Fixx had a hit song called Red Skies at the same period. Fascinating story, isn't it ? Anyway, I still have a soft spot for Streets of Fire, a weird movie and a commercial disaster but maybe also some kind of a cult thing for a few ex-teenagers of that time including myself. The two live music scenes with the Jim Steinman meatloaf style songs are a must-watch IMO. Go to YT and type "streets of fire nowhere fast" or "streets of fire tonight is what it means to be young" and you'll get the picture.

NP Enchant - The Great Divide

Becoming addictive. I now can strongly recommend it, especially the SE with the bonus CD that will give you access to a few Enchant classics.
