Exactly, Paxi ;-)

Here's another real nice piece from Can't Look Away, with some breathtaking footage:

I needed this YouTube to realise how ingenious Trevor's guitarplaying is on Owner Of A Lonely Heart. Insane, all (belated) respect, Trevor *horns*

Wow. Very nice. Here it's very clear that he is a South African! Made me think of "The Lion King" ;)
Thanks! I guess I need to check his solo albums again. I was initially put off by the cover. (I mean, come on!)
That's one up for you on my list of favourite people Nicky. Well done!

Too bad you posted the same video twice. You're one down on my list of favourite people again Nicky! Didn't last long!

I'm now listening to Yes - "The Ladder" and enjoying it a lot! 8)

That I Can't Look Away track sounds very much like Yes (90125 and Big Generator).
Nice work.

I like! :)

NP> Fish ~ A Feast of Consequences

Fish' voice is deteriorating even more through the years (Oh age, what have you done? lol) but with Feast he delivered a fine album, his best work in years. :)

Anathema - "Distant Satellites"
5. The Lost Song, Part 3

The first five songs would easily have fitted on "Weather Systems" for sure. Nice.

PH

Well what can I say. Anathema's "Distant Satellites" was a pleasant listen! I will revisit for sure.

Now I have put on Steve Hackett's "Spectral Mornings". I've just finished the first song (which was really nice) and the second song starts in a real Genesis fashion.
I think I am going to like this.

I can't help but see that there's not much love for Steve here. Or am I very wrong?

Steve Hackett is pantheon with me (you should'v checked that, Paxi ;) ), but more for his Wild Orchids than his early albums *horns*

Yeah, great album *horns*

Yes are invariably stellar. The only album that missed was Open Your Eyes. Even there are a couple of nice songs. Man, what a group!

NP  Interview with Trevor Rabin

www.youtube.com/watch?v=VbOu5Ik43ds

Cool interview, cool guy. When one knows how stellar a musician he is, it's surprising to see how restrained, almost shy, he is. Dude, man, you've made some of the best rock music around, get it !!!

It was interesting to me that he really wanted to get into the film score thingy, back in the early 90's. I hadn't expected that. I though it was cuz the Yes thing had got too complicated, well, maybe that too, but he seems to really have enjoyed making film scores. I aint gonna be hearing them tho, cuz I don't watch Bruckheimer movies, Armageddon and that stuff.

But I'm getting Trevor's Jacaranda cd asap. There's no full album on YouTube, and it's a bit difficult to piece it together ... but these days I'm in a Trevor mood, and I'm sure gonna be hearing a lot of his stuff *horns*

Nice album.
Funny thing about this album is, that intentionally Arjen wanted it to be a happy album.
That's why the first few lyrics of the album is 'I remember dying...'.

IQ ~ The Road of Bones

I fear it has the same 'weakness' as their previous effort Frequency.
The click isn't there yet.
On Frequency I immediately liked Ryker Skies and The Province but the rest took quite a bit longer.
The same goes for this album. I really like the title track and there are some elements of that are great but that's it really.
