Daniel Lanois does that with French and English on his albums. It adds a lotta nice spice  :)

IQ Frequency DVD. first time seeing them. They were tight, awesome DVD, including the new Keys player. What happened to the other keys player? Nicky did you see my list?

According to Wikipedia, this is why Martin Orford, IQ's prior keyboardist, left the band and is, in fact, planning to leave the music business:

"Orford announced that he would quit the music industry completely at the end of 2008, citing disillusionment with internet piracy and the 'free music' culture as the principal reason (source Orford 16 October 2008). However, he continues to perform live occasionally, most recently at MelloFest 2009 where he performed tracks from The Old Road as well as some IQ numbers.

He still runs his mail order music business, Giant Electric Pea, which serves as an outlet for bands including IQ, Jadis, Big Big Train and Steve Thorne."

He has two solo albums (with several recognizable guests), which are quite good, and since you're particularly into keys yourself and like IQ, I'm fairly sure you'd like them as well.  Both are good, but if you're going to try one, I'd go for the newer one, The Old Road.

Obviously some of you must be awake by now, but you're rudely ignoring me.   >:(

In any case, I will fill the void with semi-non-prog, although I plan to end with some actual prog:

JP:   Buffalo Tom: Sleepy Eyed
Buffalo Tom: Smitten ( I quite like Buffalo Tom in case someone hadn't noticed)
       Catherine Wheel: Chrome (twice)

NP: Catherine Wheel: Happy Days

By some amazing coincidence the Catherine Wheel track that just played was "Eat My Dust You Insensitive F**k."  Must be a full moon or maybe a full f**king moon.

Given that you said you were playing Happy Days, I reckoned the odds were around 15:1

Anyway, time for me to take the dogs out now.  As soon as my current selection finishes (last track now) I shall be listening to Utopia - Oops! Wrong Planet! *horns*

I'm duly impressed that you know this album that well since I myself do not.  I considered it a substandard CW album, although I've come to see that it's better than I thought at first.   I may have been discouraged by the sophomoric song that's about a penis.  Overall, plenty of good songs though.  And Todd always rates the  *horns*.  He's a weirdo, but he's a proggy weirdo, plus he's Liv Tyler's step-father.

All four Fish-era studio albums are growing on me. At first I liked Childhood best. Now it's Clutching At Straws .....

Guess that my childhood was sufficiently misplaced to make me prefer Fish-era Marillion and Fish with friends to lounge Marillion  ;D

Thanks again for getting me back onto'm, Bups  :)

You're welcome  :)

I didn't intend to play this, but I have to let it go at least this far because it got to "The Only One I Know," which is the whole reason for owning the album.

I should be working on Marbles, but I'm hoping I won't be stupid enough to stay awake long enough for a whole double album.   ::)

Hang on a sec, Nicky.  You actually like lounge Marillion?  Is this for real or just some sort of delayed reaction to me admitting that Dream Theater did something worth owning?
BTW, I've come to feel that Afraid of Sunlight is a gorgeous album, lounge and all.   *horns*

I believe back when she was an ingenue, she appeared nekkid in a popular men's magazine to favourable reviews.  This goes a fair way toward explaining Liv being rather fetching considering both Steven Tyler and Todd Rundgren (whose genes had no say anyway, I suppose) are both kind of strange-looking.
