Porcupine Tree ~ Voyage 34: The Complete Trip

I had that one, but each time I heard the phrase "Is this trip really necessary" I had to answer "no" and I gave up on it, stuck to post-Stupid Dream PT.

JP: R.E.M. - Up - 11. Daysleeper (twice)

Didn't feel like wading through all of Up, which is far from their best work, but I had a yen for this song.

NP: Jethro Tull - Bursting Out

NP  Marillion:  Fugazi

Oh, man, this is just sooo brilliant  *horns*

It's amazing how much more Fish-Marillion grip me than the later lounge metamorphosis  ::)
I'll just let that last remark pass 8) and will just state that Fugazi is a brilliant album indeed that I never get tired of. It's more consistent than Script, I think, which I find a bit dragging at times in the middle (Web/Garden Party).

Paco, how are you getting along with Brave and Afraid Of Sunlight? Have you  already discovered Out Of This World on the latter? One of my all time fave Marillion tracks.

Manatee, agree with you about Providence on Red, otherwise a stunning album (same goes for Moonchild on Court.. btw).

NP  Daniel Lanois:  Acadie  (rest of album)

Ms 007's album. Promising, particularly enjoyable with headphones, as is expectable with a producer  8)

Maybe a young adults' series about a boy musician named Harry Progger?

;D

As long as it's not about a harried progger.

By my reckoning it'd only be about $200, coming down to $100 if you'll take the government too ;)

I'll have to pass on the government offer.  We only just recently got one that might not goad the rest of the world into hating us more.  Perhaps we could work out some sort of time-share arrangement, where I get England for two weeks each summer.  The price for that should only be maybe one good-condition Scruffy the Cat cd per annum.

Still my favourite 2009 release  8)

NP: Genesis - Trespass

An underrated gem IMO.  I'm a big Hackett fan, of course, but Anthony Phillips's delicate, melodic guitar makes this one an interesting variant on the 'core' Genesis albums.  His solo stuff is very nice too, in a pretty, peaceful way.

There over East of Eden
Burning in the eyes of the Maker"
