NP: XTC - Apple Venus Volume 1

Not one of my fave XTC albums.  Too laid back for me, lacking the toe-tapping quirkiness that historically characterises the band.  Not bad, though, not bad.

Some bands don't get the attention they deserve.
Like this one for instance:

Brilliant album indeed.

Galleon. Never heard of them?
A shame.
Granted, it's not the growling kind of music [ ] but quite fun nevertheless. [curious: is it 'nevertheless' or 'nonetheless'?]
It's Neo-prog from Sweden. Four guys making excellent music. You can read about them on their own site.
But their music is not quite like Arena or Pendragon though.
Their latest album is Engines Of Creation released at the end of 2007, which is a brilliant album in my book.
Their best (double) album is of course From Land To Ocean with the song Ocean on Disk 2. A song that stretches out to 53 minutes. 
Until now they released nine albums.
