Post by: Peter on Sun, 2014-11-30, 14:47:56
"New" Seventh Wonder video "Inner Enemy"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i2lmXuNS0u0&hd=1

After listening and watching I could not resist but post on their forum about the new found boy band.

Actually, I was really shocked. This can't be true. If it turns out to be a party song in a concept album, I will apologise.

Reminds me a bit of Stratovarious.
Heard this track before, it's very melodic.
A bit off the SW sound, I guess.

I was rather disappointed at first listen, I have to confess. So disappointed that I have not come back to it so far. But I will and let you know. I have nothing against a mix of pop and metal when it's well done (think of Circus Maximus I Am or Arrival Of Love or Kamelot Soul Society) but in this case the song seems way below SW's standards.

I just listened to it. It's catchy, but it doesn't remind me of a boys band at all. It's still very metal and nothing like you'd hear on a radio station. At least, not a Dutch one anyway.
