Frankly ? No.

As far as I am concerned, apart from Metallica (that I don't like), my experience with trash is limited to DT's Dark Eternal Night (that I moderately like). But I don't imagine myself listening to a complete album of the genre.

BTW, would you classify Motorhead as trash metal ?

Only as part of a bigger picture. E.g. Nevermore and Scar Symmetry use a lot of thrash, but there's much more going on than just thrash.

I'v heard a lot of good about Testament's latest album, and I'v also listened a bit to it at cd-stores. I have it on the top of my SL. (Here's hoping that Uncle Rocky soon turns up.) Have you delved into it, Funkster ?

Bupsie, you must distinguish between thrash and trash. I know that Frenchies have a debonair attitude towards h's, but in English the h makes a difference. Trash is e.g. Nightwish (just joking  ;D ), and thrash is where they go da-da-da-da-da-da, you know, real fast  ;)

And I'm off to see Opeth on Feb 18 in Malmö. Already got tickets  *horns*

Frankly?

Yes.  *horns*  ;D

I've got into Heavy Metal the first time i heard The Number Of The Beast from Iron Maiden and with every year that passed by i lengthen the limits.
First Metallica, after that Testament, Megadeth, Onslaught, Sabbat, Nuclear Assault, Anthrax, Flotsam & Jetsam (No Place For Disgrace is a true gem), Death Angel, Exodus and the list goes on i can assure you.  ;)

Picture a guy with blond long curly hair and an earring dressed up with jeans and a leather jacket...that's me.

Oh, he has to be 1.88 mt tall too.  ;D

Yep, really.

Well, back then i was still at school but had a part time job in a local supermarket.
I still had long hair when i started to work but eventually i had to cut it to regular size.
Not because i had to, but because i wanted to.
I still miss my long hair from time to time though.  :-\

Take a look at my prog pantheon (listening profile), buddy  ;)

But since I'm Christian, I avoid groups that are outright anti-Christian, and names like Napalm Death don't exactly spur me on ..... Maybe I'm too old to see the joke in such  :-\

Nope, as we'v come a major step forward with Paxi: He remembers the names of the artist/group *horns*

So next step is drawing parallels between CC/Ten and Frost* ..... Hm ...... feel at loss there  :-X

Indeed!
I have their latest album (Exhibit B: The Human Condition) and it is truly a good piece of Thrash metal. Good album!

QuoteHeathen

Their latest album (now I'm having a Deja-vu, since I seem to remember that I have said this before  :-\) The Evolution Of Chaos goes further where Victims Of Deception ended.
Also a good release.  *horns*

QuoteMorbid angel

Not really my thing.
Never really 'understood' MA.  :-\

QuoteTestament

Oh yeah!!!  *horns*

Don't have their last three albums but the 'old' Testamant (Practice what You Preache, Souls Of Black for instance) are awesome.

QuoteSabbat

Hmm, only have one album of them (Dreamweaver) and it's good. Not extraordinary but good nonetheless.

Can't really say anything about the last two.
I know Pestilence is Dutch but from what I've heard it's not really my cup of Thrash.  ;)

Lately I've been listening to Megadeth latest effort Endgame a lot.
Truly a good piece of metal!  *horns*
