Don't really like these things as it is so subjective.
However if your favourite stuff is at the top they're fantastic. ;D ;D ;D
Yeah, I also feel very remote from what RS are doing. They're into some sorta sophisticated arty-darty trip. Do they ever take up Arena, Caamora, Kamelot, Nevermore, or other bands that we cherish (except DT and Rush, who are so big that you can't get around'm) ?
Nicky.
I could never bring myself to read a magazine like that. And don't get me started on Classic Rock.
I can't even see the list... ???
When I click on this link (http://www.rollingstone.com/news/story/5937559/the_100_greatest_guitarists_of_all_time/) all I see is an article about Jimi Hendrix.
Also there's a "next" button, but when I click on that it only brings me more comments, no "Number 2".
Weird...

That's what RS call aaart, Paco (or you might prefer an 's') :D :D :D
Nicky.
I would rename the list "100 most famous."
"Best" is too subjective and if someone else uses different criteria, then there can be no agreement.

First of all... (http://heavyharmonies.ipbhost.com/style_emoticons/default/rant.gif) ...and then etc...
;D Deenie !
So when you're not banging on your drums or running down late DT, you're reading CR :D
Nicky.
I'm just getting in shape to be a brilliantly grumpy old man! ;D
