Dear arenanet members,
We've just started www.progforum.nl (http://www.progforum.nl)
Its a forum about progressive and symphonic music, cd reviews and concertreviews.
We even have a proghelpdesk where people can help eachother to get information about progressive music.
We hope to get some credit in your newssection
After all,we all do it for the music.
Please check it out on www.progforum.nl. (http://www.progforum.nl.)
Thankx in advance and greetings from the progforum team.

The link works fine when I try...

Especially the follwoing sentences bother me:
QuoteThis information is required but not viewable by other users or the forum admin. Warning! Submitting invalid information (also street, zip code, city, etc.) will lead to freezing of your account! Your information will not be shared with others.
If this info isn't viewable to anyone, why do they ask ??? And then they threaten to freeze your account if the info isn't correct? How would they know that, if they can't see the info? I don't trust it and I'm going to mail. IMO you shouldn't registrate this forum until I get some clarification by mail.
dont want to be paranoia, but this smells like harvesting personal info for third parties...
shouldnt trust this too much, even with an explanation. (probably something like 'Blame the forum-software' or alike)
hmm the link does work for me,
but eh.. lots of info they need indeed, but i'm relieved they don't ask my pin-code ;D... the forum looks nice ordered though :P
Heh, I'm pissed. I won't delete it right away, cos I'm not that type.
My "but"s:
1) I hate PHPbb, it's buggy, it's weak, it has security holes
2) That forum is redundant. If you're really in need of a prog community, go to Melo's Progbazaar (http://melosprogbazaar.com).
3) Telling you that some sort of data is not visible to anyone, "not even admins" is a plain lie. Period.
