Funny how the tortoise could get out of the garden in 5 minutes, but only get 1.8 miles in 8 months! :D

I think a 'tortoise' is a 'schildpad'. (I always thought it was called 'turtle', I think it's a matter of American or English way of writing)
A 'hare' is a 'haas'. It's a bigger 'rabbit' ('konijn') with longer ears and I think it tastes less good. ;)

For all you animal-lovers out there: the last sentence was just kidding, I never ate a hare. (Although I think I did eat a rabbit once...)

A "tortoise" lives strictly on land. "Turtles" live on land and water or strictly in the water. One exception, in English anyway, is the "Box Turtle," which lives on land.

Hmmm, they're in the news rather often, it seems :D

We also have two turtles, but they can't run away...

Tortoises make good news stories on a slow news day.

Especially when one of them is called Spartacus.  8)

Does this make Spock's Beard the greatest tortoise-led prog band in history?
