Arena has announced a 30th Anniversary European Tour 2025 from 27th April - 31 May *horns*.

More info and ticket links on the Arena website:

https://www.arenaband.co.uk/on-tour-in-2025/

I also posted the dates in the calendar, see the events section where I also posted ticket links.

Wow, they're playing four venues in The Netherlands?! Interesting! :D
Three of the four locations are an hour's drive from me. The fourth one is out of the question, because it's simply too far. Living in the center of the country is great because most places are fairly accessible. On the other hand, it would make sense to hold concerts in the middle of the country as well... Right?
For some reason, if you want to go to Progressive Rock concerts, you'd better be living in Limburg or Brabant, apparently... Why would that be? Are most Prog fans based in those provinces?

No idea, most chance of well attended gigs over there I guess and at 'De Boerderij' in Zoetermeer. Frankly  speaking in the east (near Zwolle), where I live, the gigs almost never sell out.

I'm gonna be there in Hengelo. Would have like to attend all of the gigs, but sadly transport wise it's just not feasible. :(

Any info on the setlist? I know that they're playing Moviedrome...

There have been some hints and clues in Clive's tour diary, I have not checked setlist.fm for more details and am gonna wait and see what the Zoetermeer gig brings  :)

Enjoy the gig in Hengelo!

Really enjoyed the Zoetermeer show! Moviedrome was the inevitable highlight of the set for me, simply brilliant. Also really good to hear Valley of the Kings again. With these two and the Solomon encore the epic side was covered. Visitor got two songs (but the album was amply represented on recent tours) and Contagion none (Madness Lies was dropped from the set early in the tour). The four tracks of the latest album sounded really strong, great to hear 21 Grams live for the first time and the other three were excellent again. Alltogether a strong set with a slight emphasis on the four most recent albums in terms of tracks.

  • Valley of the Kings
  • Paradise of Thieves
  • Bedlam Fayre
  • How Did It Come to This?
  • 21 Grams
  • Moviedrome
  • Time Capsule
  • The Equation (The Science of Magic)
  • What If?
  • Serenity
  • (Don't Forget to) Breathe
  • The Tinder Box
  • Life Goes On
  • Solomon
  • Crying for Help VII

I do hope the tour fatigue is speaking here in the final entry of the John Mitchell tour diary, and this was not the final tour, or a possible line up change..
QuoteI certainly don't know if this band will ever go on tour again or whether or not in this incarnation.
Certainly the reality of touring and the desire to continue to do so at this level has come into question on several occasions since we set out on this journey.
