Ok, so I've mentioned these guys a few times in various places on this forum, but I never put a topic about them up.
Type O Negative, (for anybody that doesn't know) were an American gothic metal band based in Brooklyn, NY. Their singer/bassist/main man was a mountain of a man called Peter Steele, he died in April 2010 of heart failure, but the fruits of his work live on.
In a similar way to Anathema, Type O started much more 'hardcore' than what they finished with the first album 'Slow, Deep and Hard' being reminiscent of Steele's previous band Carnivore. As such many of their fan-base regard their third release 'Bloody Kisses' as the first 'true' Type O Negative album.
I started listening to 'October Rust' and worked on from there.
Here are a couple of links...
"Love You To Death" from 'October Rust'

"Cinnamon Girl" also from 'October Rust' (yep, they went there!)
