Arrived Friday just in time for my weekend road trip:

Discipline. - To Shatter All Accord
Discipline. - Unfolded Like Staircase

Amazing: an American prog band that was lying inert for 14 years and suddenly put out a new album.  I'm pretty excited about this since I'd never heard of them a month ago, and there aren't that many prog bands from here that I really like.  These guys are really interesting, and very much into long-format songs.  I can see little hints of other bands in a few passages, but mostly they are all their own.  The vocals seems really unique to me in particular.

I don't know if the word has a sense in this context but I suffer from a bulimia for new music these days and www.progrock.uk.co offers a lot of tempting soul food for that purpose. Here's is my last purchase (not mentioning the usual free Classic Rock Society sampler CD stuffed of interesting songs : this time, it has some Magic Pie, Pallas and ... Arena on it) :

TOUCHSTONE - The City Sleeps
STEVE THORNE - Into The Ether
COSMOGRAF - When Age Has Done Its Duty
ORFORD MARTIN - Classical Music And Popular Songs
HAKEN - Aquarius

I think at least the latter should have some supporters here  :)

Manatee

Yesterday I bought the Amazon download of:

Agents of Mercy - The Black Forest

Very good stuff.  The extra structure of the music here compared to Flower Kings seems to be just what was needed for Roine Stolt to click with me.  (Of course, I like Transatlantic too)

Yeah, in fact the only one of the five that interests me  :)

I consider Haken to be in DT-class (the big DT that is). One has to bear in mind that they'r 15-20 years younger than the  DT-guys, but already with Visions, I find that they'v reached the topleague of prog  *horns*

NP  The PW albums

That's my nectar currently  8)

I can certainly agree with that.  8)

Visions is outstanding, even better than their first album Aquarius.
Awesome is just a word.

Pre-ordered the new Gazpacho album at my local prog store. The guy said he's expecting it in exactly one week  8).

Then it's time for the new Pendragon DVD (also on Blu-Ray): http://tinyurl.com/d2dv8y4. Nicky, maybe a tip for you? Lots of stuff from 'Passion'  ;)

Not really a Jethro Tull album, but rather an Ian Anderson album.
Talking about TAAB2 I presume?

I'm curious about that one too.

Bought the second Gazpacho album 'When Earth Lets Go' and had it signed by the singer. I told him I enjoyed the show. He asked me 'see you again?', which I replied with 'definitely' ;). Really nice. I also bought a cool t-shirt with a print from their first album 'Bravo'.
