Reminds me of Opeth, Devin Townsend, Voyager (no, not The Voyager ;D ) and Caligula's Horse. I've listened to the album twice and I think it's a grower. 8) It's the first major discovery of 2022 for me.


One of the more recent 2021 releases I listen to a lot these days:
-Ross Jennings (!!!) I already mentioned him before, but it doesn't hurt mentioning him again! Amazing album.
-The Ancestry Program's "Mysticety Ambassadors (Part 1)" which makes me look forward to part 2. 8) Made me think of Arena in some places.
-Charles Soulz's "Split Mind". Very nice album which made me think of Dream Theater, Threshold and Ayreon with a very Arjen Lucassen-ish story.
-Drifting Sun's "Forsaken Innocence". In 2020 I found out about 'Jargon', the singer and keyboard player with his solo album "The Fading Thought" and I was really impressed. Drifting Sun I already knew with their 2016 album "Safe Asylum" which had some very good parts between some lesser parts unfortunately. This new album is a big upgrade.

I did like the music, but the voice of the singer was not my cup of tea ... but will try it again.
