Can't agree, saw the band live last year November. The band rocked, including the new singer. He had short time to rehearse/learn the lyrics and did a great job

When people write stupid stuff like that, they should be excluded. I think that Cap should have excluded Andy already after the first post of this type.

On the other hand, I consider that exclusions should be temporary, a year, or two, cuz people can realise that they did something stupid, repent, and wish to be part of the forum again, and this should then be possible.

Cap is simply too nice. I wouldnt let anything like this pass

The hints Andy is giving show several things:
* he knows something
* he seems to be angry about that something
* what he knows is insider music business stuff
* it has something to do with Clive and/or ARENA
* he doesn't want to state direct criticism

Keep it coming Andy, but get out of the kindergarten chair, please. If you do this simply because you need attention, get on a stage and perform...

Clive has already replied in this thread and didn't seem to be too upset, so I won't be, either. I will still take the freedom to **** out curse words.

If you'd ask me, the hints Andy is giving shows only one thing: immaturity.
Just because he had John Mitchell singing in his band doesn't give him the right to say these kind of things in front of Arena fans.
What Clive thinks of it doesn't add to or diminish the fact that it's inapropriate on a forum like this.

There is a new album and a tour going on, maybe new people are visiting the Room, let's show that we can be tolerant. As PH wrote, Andi is not giving himself any good publicity with this thread and that is punishing enough.

A ban is not really necessary.
But, I don't believe in 'tolerance above all'. I think he is insulting the band and the fans of the band. Especially since he hasn't nuanced his posts yet and he didn't give an explanation either.

On other forums they would call this guy a troll.

In case you don't know, he was the singer of Threshold and he spent some good ten years of his life singing for them. He basically brought the band to success. He passed away this summer.
In this interview he revealed his real reasons of leaving the band.

Why would anyone discover "musical differences" after nearly a decade of working with the band???

So next time someone casually leaves the band after spending a few decades of his life in it, and the reason given will be "musical differences", don't be fooled.

Good question really with a chance of being valid, but here's another valid question;

Why would any couple divorce after being married for a some good ten years of their life?

Some things change, not necessarily on purpose.

So, basically Mac left Threshold because in the end he felt betrayed by Karl... and he didn't do it earlier because he was a nice guy and believed the lies....

But, Andy, do you want to tell us that Rob and Ian left ARENA for a similar reason? And that Clive is the person to blame for it?

So basically you're saying that Rob Sowden was kicked out of Arena or left the band because he was no longer wanted or anything. And since you were talking about royalties, you suggest that Clive gets all the money and noone else gets any profit.

That's quite an accusation to make.

What is the use, or rather uselessness of this discussion ? If you're having problems with the way Arena handles its "human resources" policy, then ask Clive after this saturday's concert !

Personally I think the new singer is great as well as base player John, why would you worry about the leaving musiciens ?
They all all may have their reasons, who are we to judge !

Anyway, I'll be there tomorrow and will just enjoy, like most of us ! In other words cut the crap !
