What do you think? I think Karfagen (or Antony Kalugin's solo albums) sound a lot like The Flower Kings. I like it, but I feel that he could have made one epic album in five years, instead of five nice albums every year. ;D

Not bad, but too many instrumental tracks to keep it interesting for me :).

First solo album from the 'W' of RPWL and known from the band Blind Ego. Only one track with vocals (Arno Menses from Subsignal) the track 'Three'. Most of the time (nearly) instrumental albums are 'fighting against the sleep' for me. Not this time. Will eventually result in buying the album I'd say :).

2. Sounds like a heavier Yes

So, Teunis, according to 1 you'll love it, but according to 2 you might hate it.
I think it's really good because of 1 and 2! 8)

Also listened a lot to the new albums by:
Wilderun, ended up buying it.
Big Big Train, continuation of the previous album: like it.
Retreat From Moscow, (what's in a name....) sounds like a mix between Pendragon, Pallas and Marillion.
Karfagen, after Moscow I'd like to mention Ukraine. I like this album, it's like a little brother of The Flower Kings.
The Flower Kings, the big brother. Fantastic album! Ordered it.
Marillion, nice steady Marillion album. At least as good as F.E.A.R. but not as good as Marbles (but they're not pretending).
