It's a strange world, isn't it, John? Somehow I also ended up listing the groups I like on my Listening Profile.

You've never been the man of too many words, better drink some good beer. Skååååål.

You've never been the man of too many words,
Nicky.

Let me explain why, you will most likely have noticed my spelling is pretty bad. When my daughter was at school she was diagnosed as having dyspraxia (wrong spelling but that's how its pronounced) As the symptoms, and associated behaviours were explained to us I was going "I do that!" and "That's me that is" ( things like writing the second letter of a word before the first) so I've never been diagnosed but it's fairly obvious that although i'm nowhere near as bad as Sammi I certainly suffer a degree of it. I guess what really puts it into perspective is that in my last 2 years at school I was in the top class for every subject I took but I had to take "Remedial Classes" to learn to write and spell, both of which i'm still shit at. If i was to write all this down it would take ages for you to work out my writing. At work if I have to write something by hand i'll write it in block capitals as otherwise no one will have a clue what it says!

*Took me about half an hour to type that up!!

Compared to my spelling, i must say yours is pretty decent. And i'm Dutch.  :D
I could have said 'And you're an Englishman' but i don't know what's better. Or worse.  ;)

Look at it positively: You'll get good exercise. Every disadvantage has its advantage. At least that's what Johan Cruyf always says.  ;D

Yeah, thanks, John, for sharing this with us (although I would have preferred the beer  ;D )

I won't press you any more for explanations.

Maddox is quite some philosopher, huh?

That you do! Certainly made me laugh. It does help using FireFox, I have a plugin dictionary that spell checks as I type so if I see a red line under a word I know it's wrong or not in the dictionary. I still manage to spell wrong despite the spell check!
