Hello, firstly thanks for all the great music, secondly i was hoping that you could tell me what the lyrics/song "Opera Fanatica" mean, is there a theme ... Also very randomly, is there anyone in Arena who is religious?
Thanks again
'Opera' just deals with the idea of moving from being a fan to an obsessive... perhaps even to the point of taking on someone elses identity.
As to religion... I guess that you'd have to ask each member. I think we're all interested in different religions, and what effect they can have on mankind. That's certainly a theme I use in many of the lyrics. :)
thanks ;D
sorry to bother again, but you know the line "the king is dead so worship me" ,by going by what you said, is that taking is that liek, the obsession had developed so much so that the man has imagined him "dead" and wants them to "worship2 him instead as he believes he has taken his identity. Just a thought. Please correct me if i am wrong.
'My idol is dead.... I am now the idol'..... ;)
So who is/was your idol Clive? ;)
I don't know about 'idols' but I consider myself a fan of these guys...
(I'm in the zone for this kind of stuff... all the Pepper's Ghost promo interviews.... :) )

There is a really witty retort to that. Excuse me whilst I go away and think what it is ;) ;D
Something along the lines of "self-confessed player of the pink oboe" should do it, perhaps...?

Uh-huh, who's been playing with band-name generators then? ;D
No ... all of Hoggie's idols are genuine musical artistes, honestly!
I'd also highly recommend some of my heroes, including:
Crusty Dishcloth, Campo Rodot and the Dizzy Jedis, the Spin Doctors (in their tumble dryers of course, on ultra-fast Giddy Geddy spin cycle!), the Recycled Registry Edits, Alex Bytor and the Snowdogs, the Hasbeens, the Seven Mutants of Tomorrow's Sorrow, the Grungegrinders, the Computer Dogs (with lead singer Gates Doggy Dogg) ... I could go on

Clave and his boyz are a particularly awesome combo, well worth checking out. Their latest offering "The Salted Poltergheist" is a fantastic three-week concept about how condiments can take on a life of their own ... I'm sure Hoggie will do a review of it on his site in due course!

On the contrary. It's my brand of herbal baccy which is responsible. ;)
