NP> Haken ~ Virus

NP> Gojira ~ Fortitude

And now for something completely different.
I adore this band. The aggresion, the power, the melodies...everything is right with this band.

Age Of Distraction - Life Is Pain

NP> Amaseffer ~ When The Lions Leave Their Den (Exodus II)

The second part of the Exodus Trilogy that started in 2008...Finally, after all those long long years.
Grew older, grew wiser, grew with the bold opinion that Exodus part I (Slaves for Live) is one of the best albums ever recorded, and yes, that includes albums from Michael Jackson, Fleetwood Mac, Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden, Pink Floyd etc etc etc, so the question here is, how does Exodus Part II fit in this trilogy?
Good album? Great album? Not as good as Exodus part I?
The latter is a given, as I never expected part II to be as good as part I but to be frank....which i'm not...it's a bit underwelming.
It's good, some parts remind me of part I, in sound and atmosphere.
But no Mats Léven, too many female vocals in almost every song...
I need to get used to this album.

NP> Porcupine Tree ~ On the Sunday of Life: Radioactive Toy

I went to see Voyage 34, the project John Wesley and Colin Edwin who plays early Porcupine Tree songs. Was a tiny venue but they played it so well, was a great concert.
