Tired.

I was at my Auntie's funeral yesterday after driving from London to Liverpool (to pick my parents up) then to Taunton which is about 450 miles. Drove back today.

My Auntie was 91 and not well so it was not a great shock when she passed. What was nice was there were about 60 people at the service to celebrate her life.

That's sad, Iggy.

Good mood here for 2 reasons. 
Fast internet reached our village. 40 times more speed. So far we had just DSL light with 384 kbit/s. Better than nothing, but as you may imagine made streaming and downloads a little uncomfortable at times.

And...great gig tonight in Rüsselsheim. Sylvan – Sceneries tour.
Small club, for about 300 attendants. Can't wait, really looking forward to it.

Thanks. I'll be staying in Saarland (Rimmlingen/Losheim), in the neighbourhood of Trier, Luxembourg, Saarbrücken. Will travel to those cities when the weather is less beautiful  .

I feel better than yesterday, when I was really upset.
I was having my mathematics final. I worked for it, and yesterday we were finally given the tests. It tunred out there were at least three different tests, and we were given a random one, so we couldn't cheat with our neighbor. That would have been no problem if the tests had been balanced in difficulty, which was not the case. Mine demanded to master notions that were never seen in class this year, while the others did not. I'm in the first year of a cursus, so I guess they're trying to make as many people as possible fail, so that only a small part remains. But apparently, work is not the criteria here; it's nothing but pure luck. And maths is far from the only class where things were upside down. I've been one of the few who attended all classes, did the work I was asked, and though I am very likely going to pass this year, I can't help but wonder if all I did was useful after all.

Sad, and envious of you limey mf's: We'v had some fabulous summer days in Malmö, and now the big Malmö Festival is coming up, eight days of culture en masse. And guess what ? Not one leading prog group, only rather standard rock like Soundtrack of Our Lives and The Hives. Man 

I have about 15 Scandinavian pantheon groups, including Malmö-based A.C.T and Hälsingborg-based Cloudscape, but nobody thinks of inviting them 

And you limeys, you can go to a concert with a great group virtually all evenings

Had my 'real' holidays in June, but tomorrow we'll travel to the westcoast of The Netherlands for three days. Looking forward to it, the weather is going to be great. Wonderful .
