How long does apple sauce keep in the fridge?  I have half a jar of the stuff in there and I want to eat it but I don't want to eat it in case it's no longer fit for human consumption?  Any ideas, Apelmoes??

6 weeks max, I'd say from what I've seen so far...
Arriving somewhere, but not here....

Apple sauce is a preserve.  It should, provided it is kept in suitable conditions, be fit for human consumption until its 'use by' date.

Our jar of mint sauce is doing quite well.  It expires in Jan 2006...  I brought it back in January. ;D

From what you're saying I can conclude you don't like mint sauce?

Oh, not at all.  I love mint sauce, I brought it especially to have with lamb, but recent financial ball-ups have prevented me from buying lamb... :'(

That's not strictly true... there is nothing said about that lamb being silent... The lamb only lies down on broadway... ;D

let's assume that the lamb is sleeping or even dead, therefor it will most surely also be very silent.

The Lamb Drops Dead On Broadway
The Dead Lamb Lies Down On Broadway
The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway And Dies
The Lamb Lies Down And Sleeps On Broadway

Indeed it does and someone on this forum (I can't remember who) has some in their fridge.  Perhaps we can borrow some.
No longer feeling anything
Fading fast
Nothing lasts

I like them with ketchup...

marcello

As the words of Ralph Wiggum:

"My cat's breath smells of cat food"
What will I be, When Winter comes again, and were wrapped up in furs, and life has begun again

PH

Well, yeah, and every mood has it's food.

Is this even slightly influenced by of mice and men?
I'm not overly fond of that frog. A 12-Gauge Shotgun springs to mind.

I can't remember where I posted it, but ages and ages ago, I posted a picture of the Butterfly Man. I have found another picture:

I did that book and film resently at school, could well come up in the exams, so I like it significantly less than I would.
