Hi!

Have you ever heard about Audioscrobbler?
Or do you want to know what it is?

Audioscrobbler is a plugin in oyur music player (winamp, iTunes, etc.) that notices which tracks you are playing, and putting it into your profile on the Internet.

Check my listening profile to see how it works:

And join the Arena-group I created:
www.last.fm/groups/Arena

The signature I have is a part of the Audioscb-thing. It shows my last submitted tracks.

Good luck! This is fun!  ;)

Hmmm... that's a neat idea.  MSN does a similar thing as well.
Also, the music that I put onto my laptop from CD, has the relevant album details (writer, release date etc...) and even a pic of the album cover! ;D

Appelmoes??

I listen to my albums mostly with a good ol' fashion cd-player on my stereo.
For some good reading visit:""Fluffy Kittens of DOOM"!

It's probably well worth noting that, most of the music I play at home is on brand new (not copied) CD.  I also travel to work listening to MiniDisks compiled from my rather large CD collection.  There is also music on my laptop which I put there for the purposes of entertainment when using the laptop away from home.

Peter

I'm not overly fond of the idea of telling anyone what I digitally listen to on my PC, least of all on a regular basis, except for the "now listening" threads here and there. Who are these scrobbler guys, what do they do with the data you give them? This is the cheapest form of market research I've ever heard of.

It's actually not that bad if you buy the music you listen to digitally...

Example...:-

Buy it on CD.
