I'm an absolute sucker for this British band and their stunning records (especially, "Awake And Dreaming" whose first edition appeared in 2006).
That's a link to THE GIFT's Bandcamp page.

Stay tuned for an announcement in the coming weeks of 2022. *horns*
The new studio album is set for release on mid Spring. Further details will be revealed in due course. ;)
The bandname does ring a bell. And I'd like to think I've seen the artwork of "Why The Sea Is Salt" before. Might that be their most popular album?
Can you tell us a bit more about this band. What are they like?
Does it sound like Arena for example? Or another band? What can we expect?

OK. The Gift makes a magnificent debut album "Awake And Dreaming" in 2006, and then disbands... Fortunately, after eight years of hibernation, Mike Morton with cohorts returned proving that they never lost their fire and energy. At present, having some studio albums behind them, The Gift continue to bring their familiar prowess to the table, and all the while keeping it fresh and new. 8)
If you missed out the previous offers first time around this CD collection comes highly recommended. :)

P.S. I take the liberty to say that there'll be a handful of very special guests on upcoming release (incl.
Genesis alumni, two members of legendary act
England and ex-
Karnataka singer). ;) Plus Peter Jones (
TMT, Camel).

Meanwhile, you can see a hint to the lyrical idea for new offer. ;)
Mark Buckingham works on art cover, booklet and various extras.
We watch in reverence as Narcissus is turned into a flower.
A flower? ;D
Interesting, interesting.
