The Netherlands:
- Everything Appelmoes said
- 'De wallen' (ask Appelmoes)
- Things like hagelslag (is there an english word for it?) and salt licorice are very popular
Please remove the picture of Frans Bauer... PLEASE!!

Well because PH determinedly clings on to his youthfull innocence:
"De Wallen" is the red light district in Amsterdam. But it isn't famous across the world I think.
I have heard of the red light district of Amsterdam here in the States. I don't know how many more people have heard about it.
ah, see, Marcello didn't say the whole story, here in England, we are famous for...........
some GREAT PROG!!! :o :o :o

Oh I wouldn't say that! Every American I spoke (when I played C&C: Renegade, I spoke a lot with them), almost everyone knew what Amsterdam is famous about!
And it wasn't because of the beautiful city itself...

England. A nation famous for:-
It's incredible consumption of Tea,
London,
The Local Pub,
Fish & Chips,
Big Ben,
Status Quo.
Norway
Famous for:
Killing whales (which we do for fun, of course)
Oil (which buys us a lot of fun up here...)
Belching (which is great fun for all, I should believe)
Should be famous for:
Separating ourselves from the Swedes, and having the exact same amount of money tucked away a hundred years later that Sweden has in foreign debt.
The clean water and fresh air.
The interestingly big boobs flying about everywhere.
Infamous for:
Sickly expensive cars.
And gas.
And speeding tickets.
and booze
and beer
And the superultrahigh quality moonshine!!! Natural thing, really...
England also has: baked beans, (according to various old fashioned drama series) teatime and pubs
