Things I listened to lately:
Ross Jennings (Haken singer) - "A Shadow Of My Future Self"
What a fantastic surprise this album is! I really like it. In fact, I already like it so much, it will end up in my top ten list this year. And the album came out only three weeks ago! I really admire Ross, what a creative soul.
Also really looking forward to the album "Troika" by D'Virgilio, Morse & Jennings. The new single Julia (written by Ross) sounds pretty good!

Hasse Fröberg & Musical Companion - "We Are The Truth"
Wow. Does he actually still need The Flower Kings? ;D This band is on fire! Very nice! Still glad that Roine Stolt & Co. are also coming up with a new album. Haven't really listened to the new single yet though.

Castanarc - "The Sea Of Broken Vows"
Singer reminds me of Phil Collins a lot. The songs are catchy. Probably not end of year top ten material, but still I keep coming back to it every now and then.

Oh, and I became a big Lazuli fan! The semi-new album "Dénudé" is a delight. The songs are (semi)acoustic reworkings of earlier songs. I also really like their previous studio album "Le Fantastique Envol De Dieter Böhm".

I'm forgetting a lot of other fantastic music that I discovered. But I'm sure I'll point them out sooner or later.

Frankly speaking I felt the same after the first listening, but this one is definitely a grower. Like it a lot now, but I'm sure it will not top 'Remedies' indeed.

Indeed, I also find 'Prescient' the weakest of the 3. I always ordered new releases from Arjen before the release, but now I'm going to listen first ... :-\.

Heard/read many raving reviews of this album. It's a neoprog album. Not bad at all, but the vocals, like so often, don't appeal to me I'm afraid.

Elder & Kadavar - "Eldovar: A Story Of Darkness & Light"
I've not heard of either band Elder or Kadavar, but together they made a nice album under the monniker: Eldovar.
Music sounds somewhat between Pink Floyd, Hawkwind and Tangerine Dream on the one side and Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath on the other.
