Hey guys,

I would love to see a book full of tabs for guitar/keybord/bass/lyrics etc.
Some sort of 'Play like Arena' guidebook.
Is there any chance a book like that will ever come to exist?

Hey, that's a good idea!
Maybe Clive can make this dream come true!
I'd love to have a book full of guitar tabs and piano 'tabs'. (Is it called pianotabs? I mean, you hear a lot about guitartabs, but pianotabs?)

Dream Theater often released 'songbooks'.
And I've got a Pink Floyd (Animals) songbook here. Actually it's my dad's.

But this would be an awesome idea!! ;D

Clive

It's a great idea, but I just don't have the time in the the day to do this...

Perhaps someone else would like to take on this job.... I'm more than happy to help with information etc...

I think that this is a great idea and if Clive is willing to help, even though he is very busy, I think this would be a great project.  Is any musician on the site willing to do something like this?  A book of guitar tabs and piano music would be a great addition to anyone's Arena collection!!! :)

Count me in!
If enough people want to help we could make an online songbook with EVERY song of Arena in it!

For those who are interested add me on MSN: joost_ben_ik@hotmail.com
With some help from the band and fellow musicians we can do it!

You are the same!
Peter! Check their IP addresses and ban one! :D

But to get on topic, I'm not a good musician, so I think I can't help... :(
But if there's anything else I can do, I'm glad to do it. ;) :P

Cyborg-Frask

same here.. i'm not good in making music that's why i listen to music from people who can  ;)

But i can always ask my brother....He's pretty good in "listening and write it down music he hears"

i'll ask him as soon as possible  *horns*

joost

Yeah, we should get some people together, no matter if they are real good musicians or not.
A lot of musicians can do it!

tina

I've just paid to get hold of PT's Deadwing music (the official version). I'd be more than happy to put some hard cash aside for something similar for Arena (The Visitor maybe?). We can all kill ourselves trying to get it right - seems loads easier if the band just writes it down and gets some hard cash in return?

.. if not don't get your hopes up, I'm not upto breaking this stuff down ---- yet.

joost

Im willing to pay a shitload of cash in order to get some tabs.
Also Im trying to get Crying for Help VII (breakfast in biarritz) tabbed.
Anyone willing to help me?

Peter

Arriving somewhere, but not here....

tina

 ??? Me neither.

Anyone have a contact in MI5 - maybe they'll know  ;)

ProgFan

I can play The Hanging Tree a little bit on guitar
The intro and the solo both a little piece,
but it's very hard to find out how the rest goes

*horns*

Andy

Hi,

I think I can help with that.
I'm a keyboardist, I play in Flash Range (www.flashrange.net)
We often play Arena songs, espescially those:
Crying for Help IV, Out of Wilderness, Midas Vision, Friday's Dream,...more to follow :)

Kind regards,
Andrey,

ok, so there are the first 4 tracks that can be tabbed (??)... what do you say Andrey?

Silhouette

I guess I could try to help.
I'm a bass player myself, so that would be the easiest thing for me to figure out, but I do play guitar, keyboards and drums as well, so I guess I could help out.

I'm master_silhouette@hotmail.com on Msn, add me if You like, Joost!
