Hello there, can you help? The other Ian from Harlow (the one definitely not getting married) suggested that I ask..At the school where I teach, all of us have been asked to provide our own choices of music for use in assemblies (this could be a source of regret...), and a few of us have decided that rather than try to remember when it is our turn, we should make up cd's which we can then keep in school for such occasions. The question is - what to include? It needs to be calming, not too long, and obviously suitable for our dear children, from 4-11 years old. I have used various Marillion, Kate Bush, and others in the past, but never anything with Clive on! All suggestions welcome....We have also decided to make up cd's which should NEVER be played in assembly, so maybe you can help with that one too...

Thanks
Cx

How about Serenity from The Vistor.  It's nice and calming and short at just over 2 minutes long.

Cheers,

Ian
Worrying is like a rocking chair, it takes you for a ride, but gets you nowhere.

Maybe you should pick songs from slipknot for your cd that you'll never let the youngsters listen to. You shouldn't listen to it anyway  ;)

I can imagine, that wouldn't be too nice.

All the other members in my household listen to Michael W. Smith and other kind of worship, that isn't my taste either. Maybe I should try harder to convince them that Arena is the best there is.  ;)

I might try that with my friends and family, I'm sure they will like Neil Morse's Testimony CD's. ;)
