From Beware of Darkness - Spock's Beard

Watch out now
Take care beware
Of farts that linger

Knowing the Spock's sense of humour, I'd guess that lyric was deliberate  :D
The brainwashed do not know that they are brainwashed...

I would tend to agree with, But this track was written by George Harrison
Because he was human
Because he had goodness
Because he was moral
They called him insane

Perhaps they changed it in line with their sense of humour... ;D
...Is this just a dream I'm in?

GENESIS - Domino

There's nothing you can do when you're the next in line
You've got to go dino.

actual lyric

There's nothing you can do when you're the next in line
You've got to go domino.

When sung live I can clearly hear Phil sing "domino", but on the album he says "dino".

Spocks Beard - The Great Nothing.

In some part i can hear Neal Morse sing "You missed your calling, You threw a little dirt in the sky", while the actual lyric was "You missed your calling, you could have lived up in the sky"
I still sing it sometimes, though  ;)

MAD.  8)
Cause of Injury: Lack of Adhesive Ducks.

I remember the song Garden Party from Marillion I thought I heard it wrong this sentence
I'm rocking, I'm fucking (with a soft voice a la Fish) so welcome... it's a party......
I hear these sentences in the song but can't find them back in the lyrics
Walk along the Waterfall, watching as the world turns red
Wonder where the river flows, and the blood on the River bed
Poison lies to close to us, Reach across the salt and Sand
Moving Deeper into the Land

Marillion - Anoraknophobia
7. This Is The 21st Century

The actual lyric:
A wise man once said
A flower's only
A sexual organ
Beauty is cruelty

But I hear:
A wise man once said
A flower's only
A sexual organ
Your tea is cooked

I never understood that particular part of the lyric, until I read it in the booklet and I laughed really hard!

VERY nice lyrics from H here by the way, and a really GREAT song from a GREAT album!
Yeah, H can write nice lyrics indeed, I forgot this one. And wow... what a nice voice he has...

Yes it's great lyrics but I don't like the album version with that boring drumcomputer, later I heard the accoustic version was much better with guitars and so on
I also like the lyrics from Seasons End very much
Getting close to season's end, I heard somebody say, it might never snow again in england
and the sentence We tell our childrens children why we grew so tall and reach so high We left our footprints in the earth
And the song beyond You, If You were a baby I would take You and run I would hide between the folds of Your heart - the emotion is just fantastic maybe Marillion's greatest song...
Walk along the Waterfall, watching as the world turns red
Wonder where the river flows, and the blood on the River bed
Poison lies to close to us, Reach across the salt and Sand
Moving Deeper into the Land

So you've come of age
And so you want to meet God
Sure you can
He's right here next to me
