Picked this up last week. I like it. What do others think?

It's ... weird.
That's the best I can say right now.

It's not what I expected it to be, especially from these two proggish icons.
That's the second best I can say. ;)

I've listened to it about three times through. It sounds to me like it's more Steven Wilson than Mikael Akerfeldt.

True, I guess.
Though the last Opeth album is very unusual as well.
Not the typical sound you'd expect from Opeth, but SC is mellow, veryy mellow, a bit like No-Man and Bass Communion.

I played it again while washing dishes tonight. My wife was making fun of it. Musically, we're not soulmates. ;)

So you've come of age

Sure you can
He's right here next to me

Hey, I like Storm Corrosion! To me, it wasn't unexpected at all. Those two are very art-y people. I think I've listened to it three or four times a week since the release and I'm not tired of it yet. :)

Could only find the Drag Ropes video on the website. Started to use the skip bar after 3mins, stopped bored after 7mins.
Arriving somewhere, but not here....

Really like the album, very dark, mysterious and brooding, a soundtrack for a Tim Burton movie in places.
We stare at our screens
All our lives
What a waste of eyes..
