Oddly, this album seems less poppy the more I play it.  Must look into acquiring Blackfield II.

I knew we'd swiped Chameleons from you, didn't know Suede too.  By the way, to go off on a wild tangent for a moment, the song "Swamp Thing" by your Chameleons is so great it's a wonder my head doesn't explode (a metaphor I believe I swiped from Gazpacho - band not song)

I don't think so.  It's not terribly prog.  It's just great.  Of course, this is one of those strange instances in which I agree with the critics, so I may be deluded.  It's just one of those songs that "speaks to me."

Wow, killer album.  If 'Providence' gets less tiresome with more plays, it's five stars.

Also the least wimpy singing I've ever heard John Wetton do.
