If I was heading for a function where there was veggie food, I think Opeth might cheer me up ;D

All things being equal, I'd agree, but these are some of my favorite people on the planet, and, as I mentioned, there will be beer.  :)

Thanks, but no thanks. I want a wife who can deliver a nice big piece of beef on the table. ;)
Besides, if she is into Chris Cornell, we might never have a good conversation.

You can still send me pictures though.

I am soooo not going there.

If it's a carnivore you want, I could direct you to my most recent ex-.  This would be delightful for me in that it would get her out of my hemisphere, which isn't quite as far away as I want her, but it's a start.  On the downside, you probably wouldn't want to be my friend afterward.   :-\

Thoroughly recommended, this one.  I don't know what it costs these days, but back when I bought it the price was very reasonable for over 3 hours of material *horns*

Anathema - Judgement.

Only the second time I've played this, but it could well end up being my favourite of the Anathema albums I've heard so far.  The track 'Don't Look Too Far' in particular is gorgeous. *horns*

And it only cost me £2.98 ;D

I bought it the day before I left to Cuba and played it almost constantly there. I still cannot stop playing it now I'm back, so I guess that means that it must be good... ;)

No, I was disappointed too  :(

Yup  *horns*

Santiago Dobles spent several years piecing this album together. Fortunately Pappa Gustavo supported and encouraged him, and so Pappa became executive producer. (Nice to keep it in the family.)

Florida group, got some guys from Cynic involved.

This is stuff for specialists/weirdos (take your pick) - most people would say "overwrought" - but for me it's ear candy bigtime  8)  (What does that make me ?)  ;D

Jonesy, I'm sure you'l like it cause you're a weirdo too  ;)

Oh yes - completely blew me away!  I don't much care for US Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV stuff, but BSG is a whole different ballgame - awesome *horns*
I see the complete thing is coming soon on Blu-Ray for a ridiculously large amount of money.  Once the price drops to less stellar levels I'm having me one of those ;D

Ah good, I see it has arrived then.

After listening to it. My bet is that most of you will prefer SC however I think I like this better.

I really like Kowtow and Holidays and don't mind a bit of pop, but must confess I don't have or have heard the Menel albums of IQ (do have the rest). I'll take your recom and give AYSC a try, Bupie.

I would be very pleased to have your opinion on it, indeed  :) And on Nomzamo as well since it's a pretty good album too  *horns*

Am I the only one that doesn't have it yet ? I had pre-ordered it on Amazon but they could not deliver before early July so I cancelled and I am going to buy the 3 cds' edition that I saw in a store today in ... half an hour  *horns* ... unless they sell all the copies this afternoon  >:( ...  which I doubt  :)

I read that The Best Of Times has a killer guitar solo, BTW.
