The Ballad of Billy the Kid - Billy Joel

I must admit, I was a big fan of Billy Joel in my youth before I understood the merits of screaming one's lungs out and making a lot of noise with guitars and drums.   ;D

Couldn't say.  For me, listening to the radio ranks alongside going to the dentist ;)

Well, yes.  That becomes increasingly true with each passing day, but this was some 30 years ago.   ;)

Is British rock radio just as miserable as Danish ?  :'( :'( :'(

I'll let the Brits speak for themselves, but I'll bet it's hard-pressed to be worse than what we've got in the U.S.   Due to a recent format change (to Latin dance music), New York City now has exactly zero actual rock stations.  There's one "classic rock" station, which I do not count because the format is based on the assumption that we're all so dim that we don't ever want to hear anything that we didn't hear 25 years ago.  Northern New Jersey has one regular rock station that's nothing special, but at least it's a real rock station.  Long Island had a couple of interesting stations a while back, which may or may not be around now.  They don't have the power to reach me anyway, and I only go to Long Island under duress since it mostly contains the worst traffic on the planet and unpleasant ex-girlfriends.   :(
