Porcupine Tree - New Album "Closure / Continuation"
« on: Mon, 2021-11-01, 17:31:10 »
So,
the wishes of the whole PT fanbase finally came true... they are realeasing a new album. It's been in the making on and off every since the release of "The Incident", as the web site states. They're also selling an awful lot of special collection items on presale, I just ordered the Deluxe CD set.

The new single Haridan is out... the rest of the album will be released in June 2022, it seems. Maybe we'll get another glimpse along the way.
Arriving somewhere, but not here....

I just hovered over to the old PT community forum, just to find out that it's now a hemp blog of sorts  ;D ;D ;D ;D

To be honest, the artwork says it's just another Steven solo album, but early PT-stuff was basically Steven as well.
I like the new song!
Reminds me of The Incident and Steven's latest effort The Future Bites.
Has anyone bought tickets yet?
I have. :)

I wanted to go with my son, but ticket prices are hilarious, didn't expect the need to sell my soul for a gig...

Unfortunately I don't share your enthusiasm. The music of PT and Steven Wilson doesn't appeal to me. Not accessible enough for my taste I'm afraid. Believe me, I tried it. But I'm happy for you, honest 🙂.
