In any case, it's a good way to make Mom smile without having to supply additional grandchildren.   I suppose I should have stocked up during the sale where Steve got his.

Actually we do.
Every year on the second Sunday of May, we celebrate Mother's day.
Father's Day is on the third Sunday of June, but that's is from what i know a Dutch thingy.
Silly people, those Dutchies.

Here in England we have Mothers Day in March and Fathers Day in June. I think its a marketing gimmick but then im not a mother and wont be and both my parents are no longer around. When they were, i did send a card but that is all.

Full of the joys of spring!

This afternoon SWMBO and I took the dogs for a good walk in the woods at the back of our estate.  Everything was a vibrant green and, despite the proximity of the local population, we didn't see a soul during out circuitous stroll - until we emerged from the woods again all we'd seen were a few squirrels.  Bliss!

As the hayfever season isn't that far off, these simple pleasures will soon be denied me

Very democratic of you to acknowledge that there are two DTs to consider.      I  noticed that the first Devin T one, Ki, comes out two weeks after the new IQ.  I'm tempted to pre-order them both together to get free shipping from Amazon, but then I'd have to wait an extra two weeks for Frequency, and I'm not sure I can stand that without weeping while everyone else talks about it.      I guess I'll just have to order them individually with another CD each that I want but can wait a bit for.  My list is growing, so I'm sure I'll find something.
