Seven consists of 2 and 5, my two favourite digits. So, in sum, I'm with you! ;D
I picked 7 as well. I think I like the sort of vague arrow shape and also when I write my sevens I put a cross-piece on them, as some people do. The reason for this goes back to school days when I got someone else to do my maths homework for me and she happened to have the habit of crossing her sevens. So in order to make her work look more like it was mine to fool the teacher, I had to cross every seven in my book!

As a British engineer, working within a German-driven company...
I have to "cross my sevens", as now do the Germans, to differentiate between British and German "ones"...
The British write "ones" as, er "1".
The Germans write "ones" as, er "7"
Go figure... ::)

My favourites are 2, 5 and 7 (crossed or not crossed).
But I voted for seven.
But my all time favourite number is "25".
It's just the perfect number!
5² are the same numbers (5 and 2), and they represent the same amount!
5x5 is also 25, and that's another thing I like about it.
And of course the fact that 25% is 1/4 of a whole. (1 and 4 being 5)
And 2 and 5 makes 7, my other favourite number.
