The IQ concert at the Met in Bury on 19th April has been postponed due to illness. Peter Nicholls was rushed into hospital on Sunday with Pneumonia. He's responding well to treatment, but due to the nature of the illness he'll need a significant amount of time to recuperate. As a result, all band activity involving Peter in the near future is put on hold.
Discussions are taking place with the Met to reschedule the concert for a later date which will be announced on the website shortly. Tickets already purchased for the Bury concert will still be valid for the new date, or alternatively a refund is available upon request.
Get well soon Peter
Yeah, I've read it on the IQ website. Sad news, wishing him a speedy recovery.
Get better, Peter! :-\

Yes, but I was hoping for an earlier release. At first it was scheduled for January. But okay, we have to be patient.

+1. Andy is a better drummer than Paul Cook imo, but advantage is that it takes less time to rehearse ;D.
Excellent! A new IQ album. I do like IQ. :)

I'm curious what the new keyboard player will bring. It must be a difficult task to replace Martin Orford, who is such a great keyboard player. I expect a fantastic album, the two new tracks I heard them play live (title track 'Frequency' and 'Crash and Burn') were awesome 8).
IQ is a very keyboard dependant band.
A new keyboard player will make a difference in the sound.
I'm very curious...
Noticed some activity concerning IQ in the 'now playing' thread ;). Well, there's IQ news on their new website:
