At this moment we have 699 members. Which means the 700th member is on its way.
Still, there's only a handful of people who are regular posters.
I love statistics, so let me share this with you:
This forum was set up in 2005. By the end of 2005 we had 369 members, of which 263 members actually posted. That's 71 percent! A lot of the members then, where very active and became regular members. We all remember Appelmoes??, Constable Hogweed, gelert, Moonloop and I'm sure there are more.
Some are still (fairly) active: bellanova, Deenfan, erik, JJ II, johninblack, kmorse, keyboardistmatt, maddox, mdread666, Peter, PH, Smegal, Teunis, The Butterfly Man. Well done everyone!
Even Clive shows up from time to time.

At the end of 2006, 98 new members have joined. I think Bupie and funkster are the most active of 2006's members.

Also debsss, willowroolz and Crazy Diamond were fairly active, at least at that time.
In 2007 the amount of new members dropped again. Nicky, bluepony, and Draco are introduced along with 75 others.
2008 brought us people like Steve Jones, Iggy, Manatee and h9. Some still regularly post here and some a bit less regularly.
I think the latest 'new regular' is aswas, who registered in 2009. Although he has only posted two times this year.
In 2010 there were only two new members who actually posted. and this year there are 19 new members, but only three of them actually participated in topics.
So there's a true 'core' of members who stay loyal to the forum (

) but there are many more who where either very active in the past (Appelmoes??, Moonloop, bluepony, Steve Jones) or never really active at all...
Perhaps it's an idea to email the members of the forum about the new album. Perhaps they'll renew their membership?
I want all these cool members back!
