I was thinking about pre-ordering the new Neal Morse Band album "Innocence & Danger" 2CD/DVD and the "Morsefest 2019" 4CD/2Blu-ray combo. But man, it's expensive to get it shipped to The Netherlands. This is truly absurd and I think it's even outrageous. With standard shipping it's $107.82 and with priority mail it's even more ridiculous: $132.23, that's $57.25 for shipping! That's roughly 75% of the total costs of the actual CD's...
In what world is this acceptable?
I can live without pre-ordering the NMB album, because it will find its way to the normal shops. But the Morsefest discs are supposed to be exclusive to the Radiant website. So if you want it, you have to buy it there... That's really sad...

I'm going to buy the new NMB album at my local record shop, like almost all the albums I buy. And occasionally I buy them at gigs. But so many US Dollars for shipping, that's insane indeed . A handful of people will still buy them I suppose. Maybe Radiant understands that and will distribute them in other ways ... Fingers crossed .

Yesterday I bought the Soup album 'Visions'. I had heard it a few times and loved it. Pleasant surprise while playing the cd, last track: after 8 minutes of silence there was more music to come .

Recently bought Mercury Circle - Killing Moons.

A bit modern, trippy doom but without the grunts.

Just purchased 'Throes Of Dawn - Our Voices Shall Remain'. It was a long wait, but worth it .

Thanks to a sale on Radiant Records (Neal Morse's label) I bought a few discs for less money.
Transatlantic - "More Never Is Enough (Live)" (3 CDs and 2 DVDs)
Transatlantic - "The Absolute Universe" (5.1 Bluray version)
Neal Morse - "So Many Roads (Live)" (3 CDs)
Neal Morse - "The Prog World Orchestra: A Proggy Christmas" (1 CD)
I can say that the shipping costs were more than the total of these ten discs together. Which, in fact, is not difficult at all, because these shipping costs are outrageous.
I was hoping to get the (overpriced) "Morsefest 2019" live album, but it apparently has sold out.

Was a decent concert, though lots of snippets. Was a bit disappointed that Sapien was not fully played.
Hoping for a bigger setlist next time.
Was also my first time at Hedon.

Agreed, lack of time because of a 'double headliner show'. And PRR was not my cup of tea, glad they left the stage . Hope to be able to attend a full Gazpacho headliner show . And a nice venue indeed, have been there for more than 20 times . About twenty minutes by car for me, great . More and more prog acts are playing there. I used to go to Zoetermeer for prog concerts, not anymore.

It's 5 CDs and 2 Blu-rays. It was expensive, but I'm glad I bought it. It probably won't be for sale through normal channels, but only through Radiant Records, which is nearly impossible actually.
Of course I've already seen it via live streaming back in October 2021. But it's cool to have a physical version next to all my other Neal Morse discs.

Indeed, very expensive if you buy it from Radiant Records due to shipping costs. You're lucky to buy it at the concert. Unfortunately Tilburg is way too far for me, especially for a midweek evening . Good to read you had a great time, these guys are very talented .
