Hello,
since Only Child is one of my favourite songs ever and I was really happy to hear it live from Arena last year
I did a cover version of it today to show my respect and honor Arena  :-*
Although my version is far from being perfect I hope everyone can hear what the song means to me and enjoy it.

I must admit that I honestly didn't expected it to be that good!
Very beautiful piano and very beautiful voice!

Can you give us the piano chords? A midi file? Or maybe even a "piano only" version of this?

I'm going to put my own wonderful vocals to it. With a pig background choir to enrich the effect...

Anyway, again, this is a very good piano arrangement. Are you in a band yourself?

To be honest I'm a bit lazy when it comes to figure out a song exactly, so I just check the functions and then play it.
Yes, I play in two bands and have/had some projects.
"Elane"  is a fantasy-darkfolk band www.(myspace.com/elanemusic)
"Hel" is a pagan metal band ;) (www.myspace.com/bandhel)

So a bit different from this cover's style.

OK, there's a problem.
I've unleashed my songwriting skills on the song. It became a very special version of the song actually... I cannot wait to upload it, but my microphone is really really crap.
I've tried to add vocals to it, but mine is not a proffesional mike, so it's better not to include vocals.

I think that's really a shame, since the whole effect of the song is gone now... :(
Does anyone have an idea?

You should try to borrow a good mic! If the song is intended to have vocals you shouldn't do without vocals
