I love Kayleigh and the way it sits on the album.  As I don't listen to radio I don't suffer from the overexposure issue.  I will admit to being a tad irked by folk who think that one ancient song defines the band, but I guess my singular obsession with the wonderful 'Turning Japanese' single probably disgruntles Vapors die-hards in a similar fashion ;D

Sky Pilot - The Animals

Yes, even I am too young to really remember the Animals, but I'm a music geek (and I strongly suspect I'm not the only one here).     ;D

Maybe you would like Kayleigh if it wasn't a Marillion song. But I guess we'll never know...

I like the song on the album, but ripping it out of context is a bit of a crime. ;)

EDIT: Why can't I see my avatar? And why can't I change it? ???

The Dreaming - Kate Bush

Did I mention that we savages will be more than happy to take her off your hands if you Brits have tired of her?  It's not that she's gorgeous (she isn't, although she is somehow appealing).  She's just, well, a treasure.  I recently read that she hadn't been to the States at all because she didn't think there was any following for her here, and when she finally came and did a record-signing at a NY record store, she was astonished to see people lined up so far around the block that she couldn't see the end.  Granted, we're probably mostly coming from college followings, but there are a lot of us that love her here.   :)

You can have Britney.  She's more of a babe, although she's a no-talent moron.

I, for one, am not vicious.  I'm just modestly drunk.  And being a Yank with erratic hours, I haven't been to sleep yet.

Genius of Love - Tom Tom Club

David Byrne left the stage, and Tina Weymouth's sisters and various hangers-on came on for about 20 minutes and they did a short Tom Tom Club set, including the above, when I saw them at the awesome Forest Hills gig.

I'm sure our former president found something more embarrassing to attach the country's name to, but I can't think of it at the moment.    :D

Love In An Elevator [ Ayrosmith ]

I'd pay good money to hear Steven Tyler with Ayreon.  I have no clue what it would sound like, but it would be memorable for sure.

*horns* *horns* *horns*  About tied for my favorite song of theirs with Bastards of Young.  They were a sloppy, screwed-up band, but they were poetic in their way, and I loved them.
