Some of us get good s* instead  ;D

I didn't quite follow that, unless you are abusing Angry Chair, which would earn the wrath of both the Chair and me.    ;)

By no means. As you know, I'm a BIG AIC fan. No, we had a discussion about cheese a few weeks ago. Have you forgotten that ?

Not that I'd go as far as calling cheese-eating sublimation  ;D

Since I'm in the pro-cheese camp, I was more focused on the song than Mad's cheese attribution, which I found acceptable since Alice would likely go just fine with a good roquefort.

Glad To Be Gay - Tom Robinson

In college, a female friend and I used to walk around singing that song (neither of us were, actually, but the reactions amused us).  I think I have it on vinyl on one of the Secret Policeman's Ball albums.

Gayleigh - Marillion

Yeah, that was the song that made me think Marillion was pulling a premature Phil Collins.   :-\

It's always nice to hear some Marillion on the radio, so in these circumstances I can enjoy it. But when listening to Misplaced Childhood I don't.

I've come to the point in my life where I actually don't like it when I hear that song on the radio... ;D

I felt that way right away because I bought the album as soon as it came out, and then when I heard it on the radio, I felt like "terrific, for once they play a song from a band I'm really excited about, and it's their one pop love song."  :P

Only in Dreams - Weezer

I love Weezer.  Are they the only band ever to sing about 12-sided dice?

Well, I'd rather listen to a straight ahead good written popsong instead of prog-gone-astray.

Weezer are great.  Part of it is they (mostly Rivers Cuomo) write really clever songs that happen to have very catchy hooks, and part of it is that they embrace their geekiness.  In re: your question, I'm not sure, but I'll bet they're the only band ever to sing about 12-sided dice and still get laid.   ;D

Maybe you would like Kayleigh if it wasn't a Marillion song. But I guess we'll never know...
