Corners - IQ

Really must do vinyl replacement on the first two IQ albums.  The have several excellent newer ones, but Lush Attic and The Wake are still my favorites.  The seemed more raw and adventurous to me.

All on CD here, I'm pleased to report, although I must confess to a preference for the more recent outings.  Dark Matter in particular *horns*

Round and Round - Ratt

An underrated hair band, but still a hair band, so no need to shed many tears.

There's certainly a lot to like about the recent albums.  I particularly like 'Born Brilliant' on that one  -- melodic, yet snide -- just the way I like it.   After years of not hearing much prog, I was delighted to discover that they had returned to their old form (the usual apologies to Bupie who's a Menel-era fan).

Some more ripping I need to do, there!

Magic Fingers - Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention

From 200 Motels, one of the strangest movies ever made.  Even stranger if you make the mistake of not getting stoned before watching it.

Magic Smile - Rosie Vela

From the most excellent 'Zazu' album featuring Steely Dan members.  Still only on vinyl here due to the scarcity of CD copies these days.
