I am in my 36th year of my 13th lifetime within the Critical Mass. I will be 37 in June.
Grinterestingly, mine and Chancellor Hogweed's birthdays are only a week apart, although he crosses over into Cancer while I am a Gemini.

My son Saul is a big fan at age 9 - he first saw Arena at the Underworld in 2003 (when he'd just turned 8) - does that make him the youngest?
We'll both be going to Sheffield (from Bristol) so he can see Arena again in October (and having done this for the Oliver Wakeman gig I'm not looking forward to the drive!)

Yes - only joined earlier this year but enjoy the mag and have picked up on some bands I hadn't heard off such as Bluehorses. It's just a shame all the gigs are 'opp north'!
As a Bristolian I only have Dio and Motorhead to look forward to this year ;)

Very good - OW did a good mix of stuff off Jabberwocky and Hound, as well as some bits off 3 Ages and Heaven's Isle. He also did a lot of band stuff from his (long overdue) Mother's Ruin album that is very rocky prog and a 'must buy' when it comes out. The only let down was the crowd which wasn't very big.
OW also invited Saul backstage afterwards and gave him his autograph which was a really cool experience for him...
Steve
I'm really going to HAVE to go to an OW gig at some point soon... 8)

Ah, nice one. I was a member for around 7 years but got a bit fed up with Martin Hudson's constant whining and then when the mag went to every 2 months let the subs lapse :-[ . How is he anyway, still moaning about the lack of attendance at gigs ;)

Yep, still moaning about attendances... I must confess I wouldn't be going to Sheffield to see Arena if the Progsfest night hadn't been cancelled. Sheffield and Doncaster aren't the easiest places to get to for everyone!

There are no fans over the 50, maybe there's a big fishplace for new Arenafans to find there. Let's promote Arena for 50+, there must be fans there for Arena, maybe also old Marillion fans in that group that can also like Arena as well.

It's the older people that wrote and developed the hardware and software and taught you younger ones how to use it. You kids seem to think you are the only generation able to understand computing, but it's my generation and the generation before mine that concieved the concept of the computer.
